Clearwater Seafoods Appoints New VP of Global Marketing

HALIFAX — Clearwater Seafoods has appointed Don Holdsworth VP of Global Marketing. Holdsworth will work at Clearwater’s Bedford, N.S. headquarters and lead the company’s global marketing team to develop and implement new marketing strategies.

Holdsworth brings 20 years of experience in marketing executive roles with companies specializing in packaged goods, including Kraft Heinz. He began his career as an assistant product manager at Whitehall-Robins Inc., after graduating from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont.

Most recently, Holdworth worked in Ontario as the head of Kraft Heinz’s Condiments & Spreads group, focusing on Heinz Ketchup, Kraft Peanut Butter and Renee’s Salad Dressings.

“Don is a valuable addition to the Clearwater organization, bringing a wealth of experience to our Global Markets team,” says Greg Morency, president and CCO, Clearwater Seafoods. “As the company embarks on its next five-year plan, Don will play an integral role in developing and leading the implementation of Clearwater’s marketing strategies and plans.”
