MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Boston Pizza’s heart-shaped pizzas are back for Valentine’s Day in support of its Boston Pizza Foundation (BPF) Future Prospects fundraising program.
“Since 1980, we have celebrated Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped pizzas and it’s become a tradition for many of our guests,” says Cheryl Trevling, executive director of Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects. “This year we look forward to once again welcoming guests who want to celebrate with that special someone while also supporting an important cause. Our goal is to raise a record amount of donations for Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects in support of mentorship programs that help youth reach their maximum potential. We are grateful to all of our guests across Canada for their ongoing support and donations to our Foundation.”
Until the end of the day, customers who donate $2 towards the BPF Future Prospects fundraiser will receive a Boston Pizza paper heart. Each paper heart may be redeemed for $5 off an order at a subsequent visit. Furthermore, guests may also buy Future Prospects Red Velvet cake until April 2. The restaurant chain will donate $1 from the sale of every cake to the BPF.
