“We have long admired Second Cup Coffee, and we are delighted to be able to market their master franchise opportunities across the U.K.,” said Gareth Parry, CFG president. “Second Cup … can ultimately open more than 200 cafes and compete with the incumbent British brands head on, by offering great service, superior fairly traded coffee, high-quality food products and an excellent business model.”
So far, the company has broken the U.K. market down into several territories and is looking for master franchisees. “CanFranGlobal is organizing a series of Discovery Days in July for us, in the keys cities of London, Manchester and Birmingham, which will attract keen investors and entrepreneurs seeking to own and operate a slice of our exciting and growing franchised business,” explained Jim Ragas, president of Second Cup Coffee International.
Second Cup was founded in Toronto more than 35 years ago. Since 2003, the brand has expanded to countries such as the U.S., Dubai, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Lebanon.
