TORONTO — A second Toronto location of Carl’s Jr. is opening today at 272 Queen St.
“Just last year, we signed an exclusive development agreement with Toronto-based 6Points Food Services Ltd. to develop, open and operate 30 Carl’s Jr. restaurants over the next six years in the west Greater Toronto Area as well as cities beyond, including London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph and Hamilton,” said Ned Lyerly, president of International at parent company CKE Restaurants in California. “Yonge Street and Queen Street mark the third and fourth restaurants for 6Points respectively, and we are pleased to be off to a great start towards achieving our goal.”
The new Carl’s Jr. features a shake bar, offering more than 20 flavours of hand-scooped Chapman’s Canadian ice-cream shakes, Black Angus beef Thickburgers, chicken tenders and Atlantic cod sandwiches, made-to-order and served at the table.
This past March, 6Points opened a location at 1431 Yonge St. in Toronto as well as locations in Guelph and Waterloo, Ont.
