Cava Prepares for Groundhog Day Competition

TORONTO — Groundhog Day is coming up Feb. 2, but seven Toronto chefs will be celebrating the day Sunday, Feb. 5 at the third annual Charcuterie Competition.

In keeping with the groundhog theme, the toques will create a pork charcuterie dish. The competitors are Ryan Donovan (Marben), Ryan Crawford (Stone Road Grille), Guy Rawlings (Lucien), Ted Corrado (C5), Albert Ponzo (Le Sélect Bistro), Mark Cutrara (Cowbell) and Teo Paul (Union).

The main event kicks off at 6 p.m. at Cava at 1560 Yonge Street.
