CFIA Recalls Vodka Beverage

EDMONTON. — The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has ordered a recall of Woody’s Mexican Lime Alcoholic Vodka Beverage as it may contain glass particles.

“This product has been distributed in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario and may have been distributed nationally,” reads a statement on the CFIA website.

The recall includes products with lot numbers BB014/06/13 and BB22/08/13.

The Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission is telling bars, pubs, clubs, lounges, restaurants and liquor stores to remove the products and return it to the main warehouse, reports CBC News.
