SASKATOON — McDonald’s restaurant’s experience of the future has landed in Saskatchewan. A total of 24 restaurants across the province now feature the Create Your Taste burger menu, McCafé Bakery items, digital kiosk ordering and table delivery.
“Guests are truly at the heart of our business,” says Shelly Hansen, regional VP, Western Canada. “The evolving taste buds of our guests and desire for customization are at the core of our brand transformation. With a choice of both classic and new ingredients, guests can personalize their burger for a new flavour combination every time they visit.”
The updated concept also introduces Guest Experience Leaders and servers who will greet, seat and provide table delivery. With these new positions, processes and technology, McDonald’s and its franchisees are set to invest $200,000 and $250,000 respectively and hire around 10 to 15 new employees in each of the 24 participating restaurants — resulting in the creation of up to 360 jobs in Saskatchewan.
McDonald’s Canada’s modernized guest experience has already rolled out across Ontario and Alberta.
