VAUGHAN, Ont. — East Side Mario’s special Every Day Pasta Passes sold out in less than two minutes.
The chain released 150 exclusive passes, which enable each holder to enjoy pasta, all-you-can-eat soup or salad and garlic homeloaf every day for two months (July 15 through Sept. 15) for just $100.
“This is a very big year for Canada, so we wanted to offer a once-in-150-years deal to celebrate it,” says Sean Dennehy, director of Marketing, East Side Mario’s. “Worth more than $1,000, we knew the Every Day Pasta Pass was an incredible deal. We just didn’t realize how fast they would sell out.”
To be eligible to purchase the Pasta Pass, individuals simply had to join East Side Mario’s la famiglia by signing up online for its VIP list. Those members were sent a direct link to purchase the pass on July 1.
