TORONTO — Foodservice and Hospitality (F&H) magazine’s Food Issue made a big impact on judges last night during the Kenneth R. Wilson Awards, which celebrates excellence in business-to-business publishing.
The Kostuch Media magazine took home Best Cover for the July/August issue of F&H, featuring chef Matty Matheson of Toronto’s Parts & Labour on the cover (pictured). Rosanna Caira, editor and publisher of Kostuch Media, accepted the award with Brianne Binelli, managing editor; Margaret Moore, art director; and Margaret Mulligan, photographer.
F&H scored six nominations, including Best Editorial, Best Illustration, Best Photograph (two nominations) and Best Issue. Kostuch Media’s sister publication, Hotelier magazine, was nominated for Best Feature Article – Trade and Best Illustration.
Host John Milne, president of Breakwell & Company, and VP of Media Services at Equisoft, handed out more than 40 gold and silver awards last night. Canadian Grocer was named Magazine of the Year – Trade while University Affairs was named Magazine of the Year – Professional.
