TORONTO — The city of Toronto’s wildly popular Brick Works Farmers’ Market has opened a satellite location that will be sure to feature more power-suits than prams, and more lawyers than labradors.

The new market opened today, July 8, in the Bay Adelaide Courtyard and will run every Thursday from now until September.

According to a release, the pared-down market will feature 12 vendor stations, one prepared food station, an urban garden centre and an onsite bike clinic.

A long-time favourite among Toronto’s food crowd, the Evergreen Brick Works Market is open on Saturday mornings and offers visitors an assortment of fruits, vegetables, wild fish, meat, cheese, milled flours, eggs and oils — all from local farmers.
