SHANGHAI — Swedish chef Hampus Risberg won the title of Best Commis Chef at last week’s Bocuse d’Or Asia-Pacific contest.
The Best Commis Chef prize was created in 2001 by Rougié and Bocuse d’Or Winners and fits into the shared goal of these organizations: to encourage young talent, strengthen bonds between generations and encourage the handing-down of knowledge.
Risberg, who assisted Alexander Sjögren in the competition, also qualifies for the final in Lyon, France in January, thanks to their third place finish in these selections.
