Kraft Heinz Supports Communities Impacted By BC Wildfires

TORONTO — In response to the devastating wildfires in British Columbia, Kraft Heinz is donating more than 50,000 lbs. of food to the 100 Mile House Food Bank near Williams Lake.

“We at Kraft Heinz want to make sure we do our part to ensure everyone impacted by the wildfires has access to the nutritious food they need,” says Av Maharaj, vice-president of Corporate and Legal Affairs.

In the past year, Kraft Heinz has contributed an additional $12.4 million in food donations to food banks across Canada. Since 2003, Kraft Heinz has also provided $3.4 million in cash funding to Food Banks Canada to support increased food distribution through capacity building and food-acquisition expansion.
