TORONTO — Michelin-starred chef Armand Arnal and his team at Maman unveiled a new tapas menu at an exclusive media event held last night in Toronto.

The bakery, café and bar concept, located on the top level of First Canadian Place in Toronto’s financial district, opened last summer and has now expanded its menu offerings to include tapas and signature cocktails inspired by family recipes from the south of France.

The evening’s menu included toasted baguette topped with camembert, onions and pastrami marmalade; jambon de Serano with sundried tomato; ricotta with dill and pink radish; and roasted cauliflower atop two-year aged cheddar.

Maman, which also has a location in SoHo, N.Y., is a partnership between Arnal, head chef at Michelin star restaurant La Chassagnette in the south of France; Benjamin Sormonte, entrepreneur and restaurateur; Elisa Marshall, event planner; Laure de La Moussaye, marketing strategist and entrepreneur and restaurateur Othman Kacimi.
