NASHVILLE, Tenn.MEIKO Inc., the world-leader in integrated cleaning and disinfection solutions, today announced the addition of Danielle Mason as sales & customer service operations manager for the US and Canada.  Mason brings over ten years of marketing, business development and operational management to the MEIKO team.

As the demand for energy-efficient foodservice equipment continues to swell, MEIKO has experienced record sales over the last 12 months.  From July 2011 to July 2012, MEIKO sales increased 20 percent in gross sales and installations.  This growth is the single highest increase in year-over-year sales, and the highest amount in total sales ever.

To facilitate the influx of business, while simultaneously providing a positive customer experience, Mason will be responsible for:

  • developing and executing strategies that maximize operational management.
  • further empowering the sales and customer service support teams.
  • streamlining efficiencies.
  • working with cross-functioning departments to operationalize sales and marketing strategies, while supplying the necessary tools and infrastructure to support them.

To ensure sales and customer service benchmarks are continuously met, she will also design and implement performance metrics, reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.

She will report directly to MEIKO’s vice president of sales & marketing, David Ciampoli.

“This is a great time to be at MEIKO,” said Ciampoli.  “With the groundswell of eco-conscious consumers, the industry is comparing dishmachines gallon-by-gallon, rack-by-rack and really crunching the numbers — and then they’re coming to MEIKO.  We’re thrilled to have Danielle on board to help us handle our current growth, and to position us for a lot more.”

Mason was most recently a Senior Financial Analyst at Unified Brands, a leader in the foodservice manufacturing industry.  In this role, she was responsible for improving operations and overall financial effectiveness for all segments of the company including manufacturing, pricing, costing, acquisitions and more.  Mason was instrumental in launching Unified Brands’ successful LoLo product line.  By providing effective price positioning and insightful financial modeling and analysis, LoLo sales increased 100 percent just two years after launch.

Prior to Unified Brands, Mason held the Account Manager and Assistant Controller positions at Gulf LNG Energy, LLC and ANI Pharmaceuticals, respectively.

Mason has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University and resides in Nashville with her husband and two children.
