VAUGHAN, Ont. — Milestones Grill + Bar, a brand of Cara Operations Limited, has launched a $7-million renovation program that will see eight restaurants undergo full-scale renovations.
In 2016, Milestones launched a brand-transformation process, which has included a new menu launch, brand repositioning and an overhaul of back-of-house operations. The new renovation program represents the next step in the brand’s ongoing revitalization.
“Quite simply, it’s a turning point for the brand,” explains Steven Pelton, SVP, Milestones, “we haven’t kept pace with the industry in terms of our investment in our restaurants. Today we are changing that, and we are changing it in a big way.”
Included in the renovation plans are already completed renovations in Barrie and Newmarket, Ont. Additional sites will include the renovation of locations in Burlington, Oakville, Whitby and Waterloo, Ont., as well as two stores in B.C. — in Surrey and Langley.
The renovations will encompass all aspects of the restaurant environment, including new lighting, flooring, and furniture, a renovated bar area and, where possible, re-designed and expanded outdoor patio spaces.
