MONCTON — The owner of Zio’s Pizzeria in Moncton has set his sights on building a large-scale restaurant concept next year, reports CBC.
Sandro Speranza has been purchasing land near the intersection of Mountain Rd. and Church St. for the past few years with hopes of building a restaurant, pizzeria and food production area. The $4-million development will be 13,000 sq. ft. and will offer office spaces for rent. “This is built for my neighbourhood that I was born in. I never thought I’d ever do it, but it just came,” Speranza told the CBC.
The project is set to break ground in late September with plans to open next May. [cbc.ca]
