Mumbai to Host Taste Expo 2010

MUMBAI – From Jan. 28 to Jan. 30 of next year, Mumbai’s Bombay Exhibition Centre will host Taste Expo 2010. Hospitality industry members will peruse the floor during the three-day trade fair as international exhibitors present their offerings to the Indian market. Twenty-five exhibitors from France will be present, with similar exhibitor numbers confirmed from both Spain and Italy. Other countries participating include: Chile, Austria, China, South Africa, Germany, Bulgaria, Dubai, The United Kingdom and Greece.

The India International Wine Fair (IIWF), India International Spirits Fair (IISF), India International Food Fair (IIFF) and India International Hospitality Fair (IIHF) will all be showcased in the exposition. An article from Indian Wine Academy states that: “IIWF and IISF will showcase wines, spirits, beers, specialty liquors, cocktail mixes and the new F&B technologies available in the market, whereas the IIFF will display convenience food, packaged food, bakery and confectionery, dairy, fresh and organic products. IIHF will exhibit the latest hotel and catering equipments, coffee and juice machines, chillers, display cabinets and tableware.”

In addition to the fairs, cooking demonstrations, celebrity chef appearances and a wine workshop are scheduled to be part of the show.
