VANCOUVER — The owners of Mahony & Sons are opening their third Vancouver restaurant today at Stamps Landing.

The 10,000-sq.-ft. Stamps Landing location, which previously housed Monk McQueen’s restaurant, has 600 seats spread across two levels. Key features include an oyster bar, an extensive patio with double-sided fireplace and a private sunset patio for small groups.

“We can’t wait to welcome our guests through the doors and see their reactions,” said Chris Mahony, proprietor, Mahony & Sons Stamps Landing. “We stripped the old restaurant back entirely and have been rebuilding it to create a welcoming Irish restaurant experience. We now have a stunning restaurant and waterfront patio for both locals and visitors.”

The menu is a mix of casual comfort food and traditional Irish dishes prepared using high-quality ingredients with offerings such as a chicken and brie sandwich ($16.95), a Gammon Bacon and Cheddar Burger ($15.95), Miso Maple Salmon ($18.95) and Irish Stew ($21.95).
