OAKVILLE, Ont. — The fastest and friendliest Tim Hortons’ team has been unveiled after a nationwide search of nearly 1,300 participating restaurants that culminated in a final competition held yesterday in Ottawa.

The “Pat-Nots” team, from the Tim Hortons’ unit located at 283 Portugal Cove Rd. in St. John’s, N.L., was crowned the champion of the company’s second annual challenge.

They were tops in performance, speed, order accuracy and friendliness. Winners earned a trophy, $6,000 each and bragging rights.

“We are so proud for making it to the finals and to bring the championship back to Tim Hortons’ restaurants in Newfoundland,” said Stacey Coish, along with teammates Andrew Boone, Tracey Pitcher and manager Robert Tobin. “It’s a great feeling to be recognized on a national level for delivering the best service to our Tim Hortons’ guests.”
