VANCOUVER — The Vancouver-based Oakwood Canadian Bistro has launched executive chef Michael Robbins’ fall/winter menu.
The new dishes were created with a focus on naturally sourced products, organic, hormone- and antibiotic-free meats and Ocean Wise-certified seafood. The bread, pasta and sauce is made in-house, with butchery completed on premises.
The menu, with dishes ranging from $7 to $26, includes French onion soup with caramelized onion, beef broth and a smoked cheddar crostini; Sezmu striploin steak and frites with Kennebec hash, onion jam and Dijon hollandaise; and an AAA-burger served on a house-made poppy-seed bun with buttermilk fried onion and smoked cheddar.
