Restaurant Brands International Reports Second Quarter 2015 Results

OAKVILLE — Restaurant Brands International Inc.has reported its financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2015.

“We are pleased to report another quarter of solid results for both of our iconic brands, Tim Hortons, and Burger King, Daniel Schwartz, CEO, Oakville,Ont.-based Restaurant Brands International said. “The continued expansion of our global footprint combined with effective marketing and successful product launches drove system-wide sales growth. We believe our focus on enhancing our guest experience and increasing franchisee profitability will continue to create value for all of our stakeholders — our guests, franchisees, employees and shareholders — in the second half of the year.”

Tim Hortons comparable sales has increased 5.5 per cent and Burger King comparable sales has increased 6.7 per cent in constant currency. Tim Hortons has delivered net restaurant growth (NRG) of 52 while Burger King delivered NRG of 141. System-wide sales grew 8.4 per cent at Tim Hortons and 11.6 per cent at Burger King in constant currency.
