Lov, which opened on Montreal’s McGill Street, has a vegan/vegetarian brunch menu prepared by executive chef Stephanie Audet, formally of raw food restaurant Crudessence. All produce used comes from local Quebec farms. The brunch menu includes a hemp-seed waffle, fresh fruit and cashew yogurt ($12) and a Haskap-Berry grilled cheese with multigrain bread, vegan cheese, zucchini, Haskap-Berry jam and balsamic vinegar ($7). The evening menu offers an Orzotto with organic orzo, charred eggplant, ratatouille and Lov parmesan ($15) and Urban Mushrooms made with local oyster mushrooms, zucchini, pearl onions, green peas, squash-seed milk and chili oil ($18).
