TORONTO — Subway Canada announced it will be offering diners the option of gluten-free bread in its restaurants across Canada, for a limited time.

“We are always looking to provide more variety and meet the dietary needs of our guests. We’ve been testing gluten-free bread at a small number of our restaurants in Canada and the response has been very positive,” says Cristina Wells, senior Marketing director, Subway Canada. “We’re excited to expand our gluten-free bread to our restaurants and are proud to be the first QSR in Canada to tackle this need on a national scale.”

The gluten-free bread is produced and packaged in a gluten-free facility. Subway Canada also carries a variety of proteins, toppings and sauce options that do not contain gluten.
