CHARLOTTETOWN — The Row House Lobster Company is scheduled to open in May in Victoria Row, Charlottetown, reports The Guardian.

Erin Henry, the bistro-style restaurant’s executive chef, will prepare traditional lobster supper dinner as well as fusion dishes, such as Asian-style lobster. And, the team plans to work with local suppliers to source its buns and cheese. “If you’re going to do a lobster sandwich, what better roll to cook it on than a Buns and Things roll? If we’re going to do Mac and Cheese, what better cheese than the Gouda cheese company on P.E.I.?” Chris LeClair, owner of the restaurant, is quoted as saying by the newspaper. “The chef is really focused on identifying local products that we can incorporate into the menu.”

The opening comes as P.E.I. residents celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation. [theguardian.pe.ca]
