OAKVILLE, Ont. — The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro has reintroduced its “cooking with beer” menu, newly dubbed the “Burger Brewbecue” featuring beer-inspired burgers, starters and shakes.

“We’re thrilled to offer our guests the chance to have their beer and eat it too,” said Bruce Miller, chief marketing and development officer and co-owner at The Works. “The feedback from last year’s offer was overwhelmingly positive, so we’re bringing it back again better than ever for a second round.”

The limited time menu will be available until September and features items such as “Up Beer Creek with a Bacon Paddle”, an 8 oz. burger with Moosehead beer-battered bacon, Cracked Canoe caramelized onions, Barking Squirrel BBQ sauce, gouda and lettuce ($16), “Bad to the Bone Dry Ribs” served with Barking Squirrel BBQ sauce ($12), and the “Root 66 Shake” made with root beer, vanilla ice cream and Oreo cookie crumbs ($8).

In conjunction with the new menu, The Works is also offering a Brewbecue contest that gives participants the chance to win a catered backyard barbecue for 20 guests.
