HALIFAX — The owners of Tarek’s Cafe, Habaneros and Cheese Curds are planning to add more locations in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) this year, reports Nova Scotia’s Daily Business Buzz.
“It’s so popular, we can’t keep up,” said Bill Pratt, owner of both Cheese Curds and Habaneros.
Cheese Curds and Habaneros will be moved into a new space near Hertz and Brewdebaker’s on Windmill Road.
Meanwhile Tarek’s, which specializes in vegetarian and Middle Eastern cuisine, will open a second café at the old KFC on Herring Cove Road.
“There’s room for everybody; we’re a big city,” Pratt told the Business Buzz.
