Tim Hortons President Takes on New Role, RBI CEO Assumes Responsibilities

OAKVILLE, Ont. — Restaurant Brands International (RBI) has announced that Tim Hortons president Elías Díaz Sesé is moving to a new position within the brand, taking on the role of president of International Expansion, according to the CBC News.

Taking over the responsibilities of Díaz Sesé will be RBI CEO, Daniel Schwartz.

RBI, which operates Tim Hortons, Burger King and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, is focused on growing its three brands worldwide.

The company said Schwartz will assume direct responsibility for the brand and will work with Tim Hortons Canada president, Sami Siddiqui, to keep growing the chain.
