OAKVILLE, Ont. — Shifting its focus ever so slightly from double-doubles, to double take-outs, Tim Hortons is reaching out to provincial curling organizations across Western Canada with four new sponsorship agreements.

Tim Hortons will now be the official coffee sponsor to Curl B.C., the Alberta Curling Federation, the Saskatchewan Curling Association and the Manitoba Curling Association as well as title sponsor to various local championships in those provinces.

“We are excited to extend our support to the local grass-roots curling associations in Western Canada, where the sport is so popular,” said David McMullen, vice-president, Regional Marketing and National Promotions. “We have supported Canadian curling for 15 years now, and it’s wonderful to now be part of fostering the next generation of champions.”

Tim Hortons already has a long standing relationship with the Canadian Curling Association and has been the title sponsor of The Brier for the past five years.
