BARRIE, Ont. — In celebration of Earth Day, Topper’s Pizza pledged to donate $1 towards tree-planting projects with the purchase of any of its Traditional Pizzas. The initiative collected $1,000 for Forests Ontario, which will plant approximately 250 trees.
“This is the first year we have done a promotion like this, and our customers responded so well to it. To raise $1,000 in a one-day effort, shows how much people care about the Earth and want to make a difference,” says Stewart Barton, director of Marketing and Communications for Topper’s Pizza Canada. “We’re thrilled with our customer’s enthusiasm and support around this campaign.”
