EDMONTON — Following its success in Toronto and Ottawa, Uber has launched its food-delivery service app, UberEats, in Edmonton.
Approximately 40 restaurants in the city, including El Cortez, MKT Fresh Food and Beer Market are part of the UberEats app.
“We’re super excited to be back on the streets of Edmonton,” Uber Alberta manager Ramit Kar told CBC News.
Although Uber’s ride-sharing service was banned in Edmonton last March, the company decided not to wait to launch its food delivery app.
