TORONTO — While contestants on the (once) popular game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? have to field a series of questions, diners at Pizza Pizza locations in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia have a tastier path to a cool million.
The company has announced the re-introduction of Peel ‘n’ Reveal. This time the contest offers customers who pick up a slice at participating locations, the chance to win a one-million dollar grand prize and more than five million other prizes.
Hungry diners can buy single slice trays at more than 570 locations; each tray features a peel tab on the bottom. Apart from the one-million dollar grand prize, secondary prizes include music, screensaver downloads, movie tickets, sports jerseys and more. “This is our first million-dollar giveaway,” said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer for Pizza Pizza. “After recently finding the ‘Pizza for Life’ one millionth online order, Peel ‘n’ Reveal is keeping our one million theme going.”
The promotion also takes place at select counter locations, like those found on university campuses.
