TORONTO — Reservations are now being accepted at Toronto restaurants participating in Winterlicious — the annual prix-fixe promotion.

This year’s winter culinary celebration runs from Jan. 26 to Feb. 8 and features more than 200 restaurants across the city. Three-course prix-fixe lunch menus are priced at $23, $28 and $33, while dinner is priced at $33, $43 and $53.

“From 36 participating restaurants in 2003 to more than 200 this year, Winterlicious is a great Toronto success story that offers residents the opportunity to experience new cuisine or relive a great eating experience at the city’s best restaurants,” says Mayor John Tory. “From the east end to the west end and from downtown to uptown, the event features restaurants that shine a spotlight on Toronto’s amazing, diverse cuisine while continuing to generate economic impact for the city’s restaurant industry.”

During Winterlicious, food enthusiasts looking to indulge at any of the 17 participating restaurants on King Street will experience warming stations, ice sculptures, fire performers and art installations along the street as part of the Everyone-is-King promotion. They can also take advantage of the Toronto Parking Authority’s offer of up to $5 off parking in the area surrounding the King Street Transit Pilot.

Although several events are already sold out, tickets for the following Culinary Event Series events are still available at toronto.ca/winterlicious:

• Food, Art & Nature – A Culinary Experience, Palais Royale — Jan. 26
• Savour St. Lawrence Market, St. Lawrence Market — Jan. 26 and 27, and Feb. 2, 3 and 5
