TORONTO — Fans of the beloved hazelnut-chocolate spread, brace yourselves; the Nutella Truck Tour is back for the summer and it hits the road tomorrow, starting its journey in Burlington, Ont. and making its way through Quebec, Edmonton and Vancouver. This year, six new breakfast recipe ideas have been provided by Canadian celebrity chef, Stefano Faita.
“We are always looking for new ways to share the Nutella experience with consumers,” says Maureen Romansky, Nutella group brand manager. “Whether Nutella fans have the chance to stop by the Nutella Truck Tour or try chef Faita’s new Nutella breakfast recipes at home, we look forward to adding a little joy to the summer.”
The six new recipes include: Apple and Carrot Latkes with Nutella; Tortilla Breakfast Cups with Nutella; Chia Banana Strawberry Breakfast Jar with Nutella; Ricotta and Fruit Crostini with Nutella; and Greek Yogurt with Homemade Granola and Nutella.
“Nutella has been a part of my kitchen for as long as I can remember,” says Faita. “My latest Nutella recipes are a fun, easy way to make breakfast more exciting for the whole family.”
The Nutella Truck Tour will make stops at the following festivals this summer:
• Burlington Sound of Music Festival (Burlington, Ont.), June 16 to June 19
• Festival d’été de Québec (Québec City), July 7 to July 10
• K-Days (Edmonton), July 22 to July 24
• Celebration of Light (Vancouver), July 27 and July 30
• Pacific National Exhibition (Vancouver), August 20, 21, 23 and 24
• Canadian National Exhibition (Toronto), September 1 to 5
