TORONTO — Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is set to celebrate its 79th birthday next week with a sweet deal. On July 13, Krispy Kreme customers who buy a dozen doughnuts at regular price can then buy a second dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts for 79 cents at participating shops in Canada and the U.S.
“Krispy Kreme is a classic brand with generations of fans,” says Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. “We are not only celebrating our 79 years of spreading joy, but also the many guests who continue to share our classic treats with family and friends.”
In honour of this special occasion, the brand’s Canadian franchisee, Krispy K Canada, will donate 10 per cent of proceeds from the sale of doughnuts on July 13 to local animal rescue agencies in neighbouring communities including the Montreal SPCA, Société protectrice des animaux de Québec, Toronto Humane Society and the Mississauga Humane Society.
