#CampNotCancer Campaign Launched This Week

TORONTO — Great Blue Resorts and Pickle Barrel Restaurants have collaborated for an online campaign called #CampNotCancer to raise money for and awareness of Camp Oochigeas, a camp for kids with childhood cancer.

Pickle Barrel locations will feature an activities page on the back of the children’s menu, which guests are encouraged to complete before taking a photo of themselves holding the menu and posting it with the #CampNotCancer hashtag. Participants will then be entered into a contest to win one of three Great Blue Resorts three-night getaways.

More information is available at campnotcancer.org, where online donations of $5 or more can be made to qualify to win a seven-night getaway at any Great Blue Resorts location plus a Pickle Barrel family feast. A donation also earns contributors 10 per cent off any reservation — donations of $100 or more increases that discount by an additional 5 per cent.
