Salad King Celebrates 25th Anniversary

TORONTO — Salad King restaurant is marking 25 years of serving Thai food in Toronto with anniversary promotions and a brand refresh.

A new anniversary logo, designed to mark the milestone, is featured on all restaurant materials — including menus, merchandise and employee T-shirts. The restaurant also launched a social-media campaign in April called Citizens of Salad King, which shares the stories of patrons, partners and staff alongside stylized photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in an effort to celebrate the diverse community behind Salad King’s success.

“Salad King’s 25th anniversary celebration is simply about saying thanks to all the people that have touched us over the past 25 years,” says Alan Liu, managing director, Salad King.

Since Ernest and Linda Liu first purchased the restaurant in 1991, Salad King has grown in both size and popularity. The170-seat restaurant has 65 employees and serves an average of 1,200 customers per day.
