TORONTO — Subway Canada’s new Carved Turkey sandwich, made with thick-cut slices of 100-per-cent Canadian turkey and topped with cranberry-mustard sauce, is now available for a limited time nationwide at participating locations.
Continuing the commitment to eliminate artificial colours, flavours and preservatives from its menu and source Canadian products wherever possible, Subway restaurants is sourcing the ‘free from’ oven-roasted turkey exclusively from Canadian farmers.
“When Subway began using Canadian turkey for its classic turkey breast sandwich, we were thrilled,” says Mark Davies, chair of Turkey Farmers of Canada. “To source Canadian turkey again for this new sandwich shows their continued commitment to Canadian agriculture. We’re proud to provide the turkey for this premium sandwich, continuing our partnership with Subway and making it easy for Canadians to support their nation’s farmers.”
