BURLINGTON, Ont. — Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill (Tortoise Restaurant Group Inc.), in partnership with Greenfield Natural Meats, is introducing responsibly sourced chicken raised without the use of antibiotics across all 17 Turtle Jack’s locations.
Turtle Jack’s is the first premium-casual chain in Southwestern Ontario to work with Greenfield Natural Meats as part of its ongoing commitment to providing guests the best quality products and ingredients.
Greenfield Natural Meats’ chicken, which is 100 per cent vegetable grain-fed and raised on Canadian farms, will be incorporated into Turtle Jack’s’ signature chicken dishes, including chicken fingers, Buffalo fingers, Roaster Chicken Wings, Shanghai Stir-fry and the bestselling Buffalo chicken wrap.
“We raise all of our animals in a more natural way, without any antibiotics, hormones, or anything artificial whatsoever,” says Domenic Borrelli, vice-president, Marketing and GM of Greenfield Natural Meats. “The shift toward using meats raised without the use of antibiotics is important for Canadians, as is environmental sustainability and animal wellness. We are thrilled to see more restaurants moving toward this end-goal.”
Turtle Jack’s will continue expanding its responsibly sourced offerings with a commitment to integrate sustainable salmon, pork, cage-free eggs and more local produce into its menu.
