WINNIPEG — The KFC/Taco Bell location at 3651 Portage Ave. in Winnipeg has received union certification under the Workers United Canada Council, reports the Winnipeg Sun, becoming the second KFC/Taco Bell location in the city to do so in as many months.
The union, which represents 10,000 workers in a variety of industries in Canada, said it’s hopeful contract negotiations will begin soon for the Portage Ave. location and the KFC/Taco Bell at 1651 Regent Ave. West, which unionized mid-September.
