VANCOUVER — Alexandre Bilodeau recently celebrated his gold-medal win in style at a celebration in his honour.
The mogul skiing champion, and first Canuck to win Olympic gold on Canadian soil, was fêted by the Canadian Olympic Committee in a congratulatory event with wines provided by the Sumac Ridge Estate Winery, a Vincor Canada Winery and official supplier of wine at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
Further, Sumac founder, Harry McWatters and senior winemaker, Mark Wendenburg presented the treasured Olympian with a signed bottle of Tribute Gold.
