MONTREAL — For the fourth year in a row, A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. is joining forces with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada to host A&W Rendezvous, an annual fundraising event.
The promotion will see a dollar from every Teen Burger sold donated to the MS Society of Canada. In addition to in-store fundraising, the QSR company is also embracing social media to raise funds for the cause. Guests can tweet #CruisinForACause or #RendezVousSP, and A&W will donate 50 cents to the MS Society of Canada; 50 cents will also be donated to the society after each visit to the Rendezvous A&W Facebook page.
“A&W guests, employees and franchisees have raised over $2 million to help fight MS,” said Paul Hollands, president and CEO, A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. “We’re thrilled by this success and invite everyone to help make this incredible feat a reality by participating in the A&W Rendezvous to end MS on August 23rd.”
