ACWS Speakers Announced

HALIFAX — The East Coast wine industry is preparing for the Atlantic Canada Wine Symposium (ACWS), set to take place in Halifax at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel from May 27 to 29.

“The quality and calibre of speakers lined up for this year’s symposium is outstanding,” says Hans Christian Jost, chairman of the Atlantic Canada Wine Symposium and owner of Jost Vineyards. “With our own passion and experience, coupled with the talent and knowledge of our international speakers, this conference offers the opportunity to promote, grow and develop our Atlantic Canada wine industry even further.”

Bill Redelmeier, of Southbrook Vineyards, will give the keynote address at the event, which will also feature industry leaders discussing grape growing, winemaking and customer service. Speakers include Elizabeth Slater, founder, In Short Marketing; Dr. Andrew Landers, faculty, Cornell University and Sandra Oldfield, owner and winemaker, Tinhorn Creek Winery.
