Montreal — Aliments ED Foods officially launched a new soup mix and 3 new sauce mixes to extend the popular line-up of Ludah H gluten-free soup bases and gravies, the #1 brand of dietitians and nutritionists in Canada.
The Luda H soups and sauces are low in sodium, gluten-free and intended for the foodservice market. The new fish fumet, demi-glace sauce, white sauce and beef sauce offer the same advantages as their predecessors.
The entire Luda H line offers solutions for operators planning to work towards achieving the sodium intake reduction targets released by Health Canada’s Sodium Working Group on July 29, 2010.
“ED Foods is committed to providing user-friendly and savoury solutions for the health and wellness market and for those looking for healthier choices,” said Robert Eiser, ED Foods General Manager, who participated and presented in Sodium Working Group sessions. Mr. Eiser adds: “we believe the key is developing alternatives that are substantially lower in sodium but still taste great. Our existing Luda H sauces and bases along with these new sauces demonstrate that it is possible to deliver on these expectations.”
