Responding to the growing demand for all things spicy, C.W. Shasky has introduced its new line of Tabasco squeeze bottle products. These easy-to-use bottles add value for operators in more ways than one.
Tabasco has evolved and increased in popularity with consumers, says C.W. Shasky’s corporate chef Ryan Marquis. “The hot-sauce revolution is amping up the flavour.”
C.W. Shasky currently carries nine Tabasco SKUs, including sriracha style, buffalo style, and sweet and spicy.
“Because of the thickness it’s hard to pour the sauce out of a five-ounce bottle,” says Marquis. “A plastic squeeze bottle makes it easier to put on sandwiches and use in other applications.”
Ease of use means that chefs can look at using it in a drizzle, marinade, or dip, or squeezing it on wings versus tossing them.
“Hot sauce is such a growing category,” says Marquis. “It’s in demand all over the place as people are looking for more spice in their life.”
