More than 750 foodservice and hospitality industry members converged at the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel for the 36th annual Canadian Hospitality Foundation Ball: An Evening’s Escapade this past fall. Dancing, dinner and an auction were on the menu for the night but, more importantly, there was a cause to support. Proceeds from the night, including ticket sales, support the education of tomorrow’s rising F&H stars. In 2008, the foundation was able to offer $250,000 in scholarships to college and university students entering related programs across the country.
