BEAR RIVER EAST, N.S. — Annapolis Highland Vineyards has selected the 12 winners of its 2010 Vintage Label Design Contest.

Artists from across Nova Scotia submitted their art, and the winners will have their work displayed on the bottles of the Bear River East vineyard’s 2010 vintage. “We received over 800 works of local art and had a very difficult time choosing just 12 winners for our bottles,” says Karen Enright, co-owner of Annapolis Highland Vineyards. “We are thrilled to have received such fabulous support from the Nova Scotia artistic community and thank everyone who took the time to enter this contest.”

The list of winners included Poppy Balser from Digby; Sandra MacDonald from Rines Creek; and Andrew Meredith from Deep Brook.

Bottles of wine adorned by the winning images are available at the Halifax Seaport Market, Yarmouth Farmer’s Market, Premier Wine & Spirits and more.
