TORONTO — Anthony Rose, former chef for the Drake Hotel, has announced the location of his first restaurant to open under the Rose and Sons banner will be at 176 Dupont St. in Toronto.
The chef, who left his post as executive chef at The Drake in April, posted a picture of the liquor licence application on his blog but didn’t announce an opening date.
This will be the first of three locations operating under Rose and Sons in Toronto.
In the meantime, the chef has been busy feeding events around the city. In the summer TheGridTO reported Anthony Rose was serving up a succulent braised pork BLT at the Junction flea market, and recently his culinary creations appeared at the Northern Touch group graffiti show, held at the Norman Felix Gallery in Toronto.
