According to a recent story in The National Post, adventurous French epicureans travelling in Canada’s far north have reported suffering from potentially serious health problems after dabbling in a little bear meat.

The French have long been known for their fondness for steak tartar and other delicacies, and the article claims that for the second time in four years, the French government in Paris has been forced to warn its travelling citizenry of the potential dangers associated with eating undercooked bear meat, which can cause the parasitical illness trichinosis.
