CALGARY — Canadian beef is once again set to take centre cut in Montreal, at this year’s edition of SIAL (Salon International de l’Alimentation), as the Beef Information Centre is onboard as a major sponsor.
According to BIC, on Thursday, April 22 Chef Marty Carpenter, will host a special Canadian beef culinary demonstration and tasting from 4 to 4:45 p.m. The culinary presentation will focus on the advantages that Canadian beef can offer to restaurateurs and include ideas to provide a unique opportunity to grow business and increase profits.
In addition to this special industry event, BIC will be showcasing Canadian beef “new cut concepts” at its exhibitor’s booth with pre-packaged beef sliders, creative case-ready packaging and merchandising ideas.
Held in Montreal from April 21 to 23, SIAL is expected to attract 530 exhibitors from 30 countries and will host approximately 12,000 visitors from more than 60 countries.
