TORONTO — B.good, a new restaurant, is set to open across the street from Toronto’s famed St. Lawrence Market in October. And, a second location is set to open later this fall at The Shops of Oakville South, also in Ontario.
The restaurant’s menu will include bowls of fresh, healthy ingredients such as kale and quinoa, salads full of seasonal Ontario-grown vegetables and staples, such as house-ground burgers and hand-cut fries. And, its bread, beef, cheese, ice cream and seasonal fruits and veggies will be sourced from local growers and producers. “We know there is more to making great food than what we do in the restaurant, so we get to know the families that supply our food and the passion they put into their farms and businesses,” says owner Todd Brooks. “We look for suppliers who feel as we do that ‘real’ food made from natural, local ingredients tastes the best and is the healthiest option.”
Before the Front Street restaurant opens, the B.good food truck will invade Toronto with menu samples.
